The guys at SMS Power have released their retranslation of Phantasy Star 1! I only had a minor role in this translation, filling in some untranslated gaps (mostly text like “[player] dodged [enemy]‘s attack”), but please check it out.

I’ve made a lot of progress in translating Eien no Filena recently, thanks to the great reception of the thread I started about it on the Something Awful forums. I’d estimate I’m probably about halfway through the script now.
I’ll release another patch after Christmas with the cumulative progress up until then.
Energy Breaker is well into beta testing at the moment. Disnesquick and I have gotten a lot of good feedback from the testers, so we’ve been able to make a lot of progress in polishing the translation for release. I never realised I make so many horrid typos. See below for a before and after of one of my “corrections” based on beta tester input.
